Hey, I am Kelvin Butler, owner of KBJ Records, instructor of the Quick Pro Mix Courses. I started KBJ Records in 2002. It is a recording studio / label that has recorded hundreds of indie artists just like you. It also offers mixing and mastering to hundreds of indie musicians world-wide. Although I took college courses in audio engineering, I learned most of my techniques in the trenches as I observed and worked under other engineers. It wasn't long before I became a master and had developed my very own process of mixing, and I developed a course to teach others the very same process that I have used for years.
My courses are designed to not only help you mix your music to sound more professional, but also help you do it quickly. trust me, I have been in your shoes. I have been an audio engineer for 23 plus years and I have been through the struggle of trying to get mixes to sound professional. Either I would finish the mix and be dissatisfied with the results, or it would take so long to finish the mix, till I would burn out, and never put the song out.
It took me 10 years to get out of that cycle. I don't want you to be stuck that long. Now, I know what you are thinking.
